Family Trust Information Questionnaire 2026

If you are required to prepare financial statements for your family trust, there are a few key documents we need to have on hand to ensure these are done correctly.

Annual Terms of Engagement

Must be signed annually for work to be completed

I hereby instruct Resonate Advisory Limited to prepare financial statements and income tax return (if required) for the year ended 31 March 2026 for the entity named below. We undertake to supply all information necessary to carry out such services and will be responsible for the accuracy and completeness of such information as we understand you rely on this information provided by us. All other Terms and Conditions of this engagement are the same as those referred to in the original Agreement signed when we became a client.

If this is not the first year we have completed financial statements, then it is likely we already have the Trust Deed and you can skip this question
i.e. settlement statement is dated between 1 April 2025 - 31 March 2026
Your property conveyancer or solicitor should have copies of these
E.g. new investment portfolio, term deposit matured and reinvested, etc.
This is a requirement due to the new tax and reporting rules for Trusts
